The first monograph on Rhodes’s work, this volume contains two illuminating essays – one by the renowned art critic Tom Lubbock and the other by the artist and writer Merlin James. Over thirty paintings are illustrated, charting Rhodes’s development from the early 1990s to 2007.
The monograph was published to accompany a survey exhibition of Rhodes’s work at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art in Edinburgh, 1 December 2007 – 24 February 2008.
